Augmented Work (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates augmentedwork.ai and the Augmented Work community. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. We follow applicable privacy law, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, profile details, messages and anything you post in the community.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our community and payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage information: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and similar technical data collected through cookies and analytics tools.
2. How we use information
- To provide membership, courses, events and community features.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To send service messages and, where you have agreed, our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the community safe and enforce our Terms.
- To meet legal obligations.
3. Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run the service, including our community platform (Circle), newsletter platform (Substack), payment processors, hosting and analytics providers. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. Some providers may store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers as described above, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Community content
Content you post in the community can be seen by other members. Do not post confidential company, client, employee or customer information. Remove identifying details before sharing examples.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and measure site use. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your rights

10. Children
Augmented Work is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
